The FPES system includes two parts: hardware and software. The hardware part needs to be connected to the computer, and the software can be used directly by installing it on the computer hard disk.
The hardware part includes the control box, cable and response keyboard. Each control box is equipped with four response keyboards, which can be used for experiment by 4 people at the same time.
The software is divided into two parts:
(1) Basic psychological experiments include "psycho-physical methods", "perception experiments", "learning and memory experiments", "reaction time and motor skills experiments" and other 10 basic psychological experiments carefully selected by professors from East China Normal University. Normal colleges set up basic psychological experiment classes, and gradually implemented computer-assisted teaching. During the experiment, the system automatically records the experimental data of each student and gives statistical results (tables and curves).
(2) Psychological tests include 13 psychological questionnaire tests such as "student psychological quality assessment and measurement", "mental health assessment", "personality test", "intelligence test" and so on. All kinds of large, middle and primary schools can use these tests to test various psychological factors of students, so as to provide first-hand information for the cultivation of talents, especially teaching activities focusing on quality education; Psychological research and psychological clinics provide testing methods. During the test, the system records the respondent's response, and automatically performs data processing against the scale, and finally gives the result or conclusion.
The hardware of this system uses standard connectors, which is easy to expand; the software uses popular Windows programming, the human-machine interface is beautiful and generous, the button operation is simple and easy to operate, and the prompt is helpful and clear, and has strong fault tolerance.
1. Install system hardware
Turn off the power of the computer, pull out the keyboard plug on the back panel of the chassis, insert it into the keyboard socket on the rear panel of the system control box, insert the cable plug of the control chassis into the keyboard socket on the rear panel of the computer, and finally, insert the response keyboard into the control by number The corresponding socket on the rear panel of the chassis is sufficient.
2. Install system software
Start Chinese Windows, insert the first disk of the "Psychology Computer Aided System" installation disk into the computer floppy disk drive, and run the SETUP.EXE file on the installation disk in the file manager to install the system software into the computer hard disk.
Note: FPES version 2.1 needs to run in Chinese Windows 3.x and Windows 95. If you need to run in Windows 95 or later, you may get an error.
3. System operation
Double-click the "Psychology Computer Aided System" icon with the left mouse button in the Chinese Windows program manager, enter the system cover and click the left mouse button. After the system detects that the user is legal and the hardware is working properly, it enters the system main interface.
