Song Yanlin, director of the New Materials Laboratory of the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences and inventor of the project, said that the previous printing presses used chemical principles. The printing process not only causes waste of resources, but also inevitably pollutes the environment. The cylinder-type nano-material direct plate-making machine adopts the physical principle, basically achieving zero waste of printing resources and zero pollution to the environment.
According to reports, in addition to being green and environmentally friendly, this independently developed plate-making machine in China has also simplified the operation process. There is no need to avoid light during printing, and the traditional printing process that requires exposure, development and other chemical treatments is abandoned. In addition, the cost of this equipment is much lower than other international related equipment, but the printing speed has increased by nearly 6 times.
It is understood that the project has been included in the "Twelfth Five-Year" National Strategic Emerging Industries Development Plan and the National Development and Reform Commission, the Chinese Academy of Sciences Action Plan for the Revitalization of Northeast Old Industrial Base.
