Alkaloids are a class of basic organic compounds containing nitrogen that exist in nature (mainly plants, but some also exist in animals). Most of them have a complicated ring structure. Nitrogen is mostly contained in the ring and has significant biological activity. It is one of the important active ingredients in Chinese herbal medicine. The purity of the target in the sample is about 80%, and it mainly contains an impurity. Therefore, the preparation and separation is to separate the target and impurities to achieve the purpose of purification. The ODS-AQ preparative column was used for preparative separation, and the target was successfully separated from impurities (Figure 1).
