Yang Jinghua, vice chairman of the China Printing Industry Association, pointed out at the board of the China Printing Equipment and Equipment Industry Association that there are many problems in the printing industry in China. Only development can make these problems gradually solved. He pointed out that at present, the printing industry in China's coastal cities and some major cities is relatively developed, but the western and northern regions are relatively backward. For example, there are 10,837 printing companies in Guangdong, with a net fixed assets of more than 18 billion yuan, a total industrial output value of 40 billion yuan, and nearly 400,000 employees. In Guangdong Province, there are 798 "three-funded" printing companies, of which 369 are Chinese-foreign joint ventures, 197 are Chinese-foreign cooperatives and 232 are foreign-owned, and 80 are publications printing companies and 19 are specialized publications. There are 654 packaging and decorating and printing enterprises and 45 companies engaged in other printed matters. These "three-funded" printing companies have sales value of 22.5 billion yuan, employing 110,000 employees and a net value of fixed assets of 20 billion yuan. More than 300 million yuan have been invested, and more than 40 billion yuan have been invested. Beijing is the capital of the motherland. There are 1,769 printing companies of all types, including 489 state-owned enterprises, 972 collective enterprises, 122 "three-funded" enterprises, 86 individual enterprises, and 100 other enterprises. According to statistics, the total output value of these printing enterprises in 1998 was 45.2, and the net value of fixed assets was 5.03 billion yuan. Of the printing companies in Beijing, only 35 have invested more than 25 million yuan. This shows that there is a big gap between Beijing and Guangdong. Beijing is still the case, and the gap between other regions and cities can be better known.
According to statistics, in 1999, the output value of fixed-point enterprises in 10 provinces and cities in the western region was 1.86 billion yuan, which is still less than the print output value of Longgang Town, Wenzhou (2 billion yuan). On the whole, the western printing companies are unbalanced and the development is not balanced. Some areas are over-concentrated, and some areas do not have printing capacity. It is claimed that the output value of the printing industry in Sichuan and Shaanxi provinces in the western region is equal to the other 8 The sum of the output value of the printing industry in the province. We should take the opportunity of the country’s implementation of the Western Development Strategy to accelerate the development of the western printing industry.
