Abstract: The present invention relates to an improved substrate with an anti-curling layer wherein the anti-curling layer minimizes the tendency of the substrate to curl. The present invention also relates to an improved substrate having an anti-curling layer on the back side of the substrate and a colorant receiving component on the front side of the substrate. The colorant receiving component provides excellent print quality and colorant stability to the substrate. The improved substrates of the present invention can produce excellent print quality while allowing the colorant and colorant compositions to have greater lightfastness against radiation, including radiation in the visible wavelength range. â€»
