All are suitable surfactants. Used to control blistering and dispersion during processing and during the production of ink.
Defoamers, mainly used in gravure (gravure), rubber letterpress inks. These inks are pumped and cycled in printing. Air bubbles easily occur when they are mixed with air; especially water-soluble inks, most of which are alkaline media. Like soap in water, it is prone to foaming. In severe cases, printing cannot be carried out and affects the quality of printing.
The antifoaming agent is formed when the bubble is formed because the vapor is surrounded by the liquid film. The way to eliminate it is to quickly reduce the surface tension of the foam. In other words, it needs some surface tension, it is easy to dissolve in the liquid, and it is oriented and straightened to spread the material. Most solvents, such as alcohols, esters themselves have a defoaming effect.
OP-10 is a commonly used defoamer, is alkyl phenol ethylene oxide condensate, non-ionic agent, it has a good diffusion effect, its paste can be used as a leveling agent, liquid for defoaming Agent.
Silicone oil is also a commonly used defoamer. It is actually a silicone oil. It is an emulsion used for defoaming. It is a multiphase system. Silicone is uniformly dispersed in a continuous aqueous phase in the form of a liquid and becomes an oil-in-water emulsion. 284P silicone oil is a liquid with a viscosity of less than 150 cSt. 280-2 is made of dimethyl silicone oil and compounding agent and added with white carbon black. 280-3, is made of dimethyl silicone oil and compounding agent without white carbon black.
