Packaging design

1, the product must have a certificate of inspection;
2. There are product names, factory names and site names indicated in Chinese. Imported products are sold in the domestic market and must have a Chinese mark;
3. According to the characteristics of the product and the requirements for use, the specification and grade of the product shall be marked, and the name and content of the main components contained shall be marked;
4. The products used within the time limit shall indicate the date of production or expiry date. The packaged food must be marked with the date of production, shelf life or shelf life;
5, for the products that are likely to cause damage to the product itself or may endanger the personal and property safety, warning signs or Chinese warning instructions are required;
6. Trademarks that have been approved for registration by the industry and commerce authorities, whose mark is R(Register) or “Note”;
7, has been granted patent by the patent department, can be marked on the product;
8. The manufacturer shall indicate the code, serial number and name of the standard to be implemented on the packaging of the product (or its description);
9. Products that have obtained the national quality certification can use the corresponding safety or certification mark on the packaging.
Also worth mentioning is the bar code on the package. It marks all product information such as country name, manufacturer, and product name, and is called the "ID card" of the product. Now, the State Bureau of Technical Supervision clearly stipulates that all products entering the market must be bar coded.

Different definitions of packaging in countries of the world.

United States: Packaging is the use of appropriate materials, containers, and techniques to enable it to safely reach its destination - at any stage of the product delivery process, no matter what external influences are encountered, it can protect its contents. Does not affect the value of the product.

Japanese Industrial Standards [JIS Z1010(1951):] Packaging refers to the state in which, in order to protect its value and its original state when it is transported and stored, it is wrapped using appropriate materials, containers, and packaging techniques.

China: Packaging is the general name for the use of containers, materials, and aids in order to protect products during circulation, facilitate storage and transportation, and promote sales.

According to the above concept, the main purpose of packaging is to protect the product and maintain its value. It involves the selection of packaging materials, packaging methods, protective measures, and packaging and decoration.

Packaging design techniques require consumers to be impressed with their simple lines, vivid personalities, and reasonable colors. Take the Royal Salute 21 in Scotch Whisky as an example. The wine was carefully brewed for 21 years. It was decorated with blue, red, and green colored imperial porcelain. The bottle was engraved with the image of a knight with a sword across the horse. There are two logos on the brand logo. The salute, with the identification of the 21-year old wine presented by the Scotch Whisky Association, proved to be elegant and rich. So that some people drink wine, carefully collect the bottle.

Taboo design is also a noteworthy issue. Different countries and regions have different customs and values, and thus have their own favorite and taboo patterns. The packaging of products can only be adapted to these, and it is possible to gain recognition in the local market. The taboo of packaging design can be divided into several taboos for people, animals, plants and geometric figures. Not much to say here.
