It is reported that Japan is ready to support the leather, textile and garment industries in Ethiopia.
Sasaki Katsuhiro, representative of Japan's International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Ethiopia, said the Japan Agency for International Cooperation conducted a study to aid the Ethiopian leather, textile and clothing sector.
The Ethiopian government has made leather and leather products, as well as the clothing and textile industries a priority, and Japan is prepared to support those sectors in response to the needs of the Ethiopian government.
