From October 9th to 12th, the Asia Bike Show is set to take place at the Nanjing International Expo Center. But before the official start, there's a special event on October 8th—Demo Day—at Zhongshan Sports Park, where visitors can experience the excitement of the bike show in advance. The event will run from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
Zhongshan Sports Park is located within the Zhongshan Scenic Area in Xuanwu District. To get there via subway, take Line 2 and get off at Zhongling Street Station, then exit through Exit 1 and walk approximately 1.3 kilometers. The total journey time is around 1 hour and 20 minutes, covering about 20.1 kilometers. A taxi ride would cost roughly 77 RMB.
If you're coming from Nanjing Lukou Airport, you can take Metro Line S1 to Nanjing South Station, transfer to Line 1, and then switch to Line 2 at Andemen Station. Get off at Zhongling Street Station, Exit 1, and walk 1.3 km. The entire trip takes about 2 hours and 50 minutes, covering 54.8 km. Alternatively, taking an airport bus (Line 1) to Xi’anmen Station and then transferring to the subway is another option, which takes about 2 hours and 20 minutes and covers 51.1 km.
For those arriving at Nanjing South Railway Station, take Line 1 to Xinjiekou, then transfer to Line 2 and get off at Zhongling Street Station. Walk 1.3 km to reach the park. The journey is around 22.9 km and takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes. A taxi ride would be approximately 52 RMB.
After Demo Day, the main bike exhibition will move to the Nanjing International Expo Center from October 9th to 12th. The event hours are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on the first three days, and 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM on the last day.
The Expo Center is located at No. 300 Jiangdong Middle Road, Jianye District, next to Yuantong Metro Station. Visitors can take Line 2 or Line 10 to Yuantong Station, exit through Exit 4, and walk south along Dongzhong Middle Road for about 100 meters to reach the venue.
Traveling from the airport, you can take Metro Line S1 to Nanjing South Station, then Line 1 to Andemen, and finally Line 10 to Yuantong Station. After exiting, walk 738 meters along Jiangdong Middle Road. The trip takes about 1 hour and 51 minutes and covers 44.8 km.
For those coming from Nanjing South Railway Station, take Line 1 to Andemen, then Line 10 to Yuantong Station. The journey is about 12.2 km and takes 55 minutes. A taxi ride would cost around 26 RMB.
If you're traveling from Nanjing Railway Station, there are several options: Line 1 to Xinjiekou and then Line 2 to Yuantong, or Line 3 to Daxinggong and then Line 2. All routes take about an hour and cover around 16–18 km. A taxi would cost approximately 50 RMB.
In addition to public transport, you can also use ride-hailing services like Didi or Uber. Didi offers a 20% discount for 100 RMB, while Uber provides a 30% discount during off-peak hours. Be sure to book your ride in advance.
