This tea set consists of five parts: a coffee pot, a teapot, a sugar bowl, a cheese separator, and a tray. Each is made of hand-hammered silverware plus a handle from mammoth ivory material. A natural vine pattern on the bottom of the tray, coffee pot and teapot gives the tea set an organic, sculptural feel. In addition, a smart push-pull cover is also designed on the coffee maker and teapot, so users can fill the water from here. Each piece has a logo with a "MN" signature on the bottom cover to prove its authenticity. It is understood that this tea set is limited to 10 sets, the price of each set is 82,000 pounds.
The company said that the entire tea set design process, including conceptual design, 3D printing technology rapid prototyping and Jensen's silversmith spent a few months of hand-made. It is worth noting that the first set of such tea sets was said to have been hand-made by the company's third-generation silversmith, and his grandfather worked with Georg Jensen, the founder of the Danish brand.
Newson also used rapid prototyping 3D printing technology in the design and development of this tea set, which is especially important for his work, because 3D printing makes it easy to prototype and explore the design of different shapes, materials and technologies. possibility.
