The success of the US retailer packaging Homebase latex paints in clear polypropylene containers led to the use of such containers in all of its chain stores to package its new product durable paint. Like the existing series, the new brand of durable paint is packaged in a 2.5 Fabcan polypropylene container that is lighter and more durable than conventional metal paint cans. In addition, due to the use of translucent labeling, combined with the design's combination of a large circle on the bottom of the container, a clear layout allows consumers to see the actual paint color.
This role has a great shelf effect, passing a special market effect and branding. Polypropylene paint cans are now quite common in the pigment market.
