It should be noted that this is just an example, and different choices should be made in each case. If the opened image does not have an Embed ICC Profile, Photoshop will ask more questions. It is important to know that each choice has a chance to change the color, so users should clearly understand the effects of different choices. In Conversion Option, Engine chooses different CMM. Basically, it is good to choose Adobe (ACE), followed by Heidel beg CMM. The effect of the two is not much different, leaving the user to choose. Intent should choose Perceptual, and Use Black Point Compensation should not choose. (See Figure 8)

All the image colors of Photoshop5.X are based on the settings in Color Setting, so the RGB Working Space of all RGB images is the same, and so The CMYK Working Space is the same for all CMYK images. However, Photoshop 6 has made a big progress. The working space of each image can be tolerated differently. The settings in Color Settings are only a basic bottom line, and each image can also have an independent working space.

So now in Photoshop6, even if there are multiple images of the same color mode, such as multiple CMYK images, each can have its own CMYK Working Space, and we can also view the ICC profile of the Working Space of each image. (See Figure 10)

In addition, the difference from Photoshop5..X is that we can freely assign different ICC Profile in the Image Mode menu, and when saving the image, we can choose whether to embed the Working Space ICC Profile of the picture into the file, and In the View menu, the newly added Proof Setup allows users to anticipate the effect of emulating the working space color in other different processes / printers. Simulate Paper White also allows users to preview the White Point (mostly paper white) in the ICC Profile set by the Working Space and add it to the bottom color, making the preview more accurate.
