Shimadzu launches GC-MS / MS Scan / MRM analysis scheme for metabolites in rat urine

Shimadzu GCMS-TQ8030 is a GC-MS / MS with Scan / MRM mode, which can perform Scan and MRM measurements simultaneously.

If the Scan / MRM mode is used in the simultaneous analysis of multiple components, the Scan is used to measure the components that are less affected by impurities and have sufficient sensitivity in the Scan mode, thus reducing the target components of the MRM measurement to a minimum. This can minimize the discussion of MRM analysis conditions. If a method file for Scan measurement in which compound information has been registered is already available, simply add the analysis conditions for MRM measurement to this method file to easily perform Scan / MRM measurement. This time, using the Scan / MRM mode with the MRM measurement of five components added to the Scan measurement method of the GC / MS metabolism database, the metabolites extracted from rat urine were measured.

Shimadzu recently introduced the triple quadrupole GC-MS / MS device GCMS-TQ8030 based on the unique UF (Ultra Fast) technology. UF technology mainly refers to: UF sweeper ultra-fast collision cell, UF switching ultra-fast positive and negative switching, UF scanning ultra-fast scanning, UF quad ultra-fast reflection quality analyzer, ultra-fast scanning / positive and negative switching without sacrificing sensitivity and Mass spectrum correctness. The high-speed MRM analysis speed reaches 600MRM / sec, and the high-speed scan speed reaches 20,000 u / sec. In addition, it is equipped with the patented ASSP high-speed scanning control technology, which supports Scan / MRM to simultaneously scan and obtain high-quality data. The sensitivity of GCMS-TQ8030 is extremely good. It is used in the analysis of food, water quality, agricultural residues, residual organic pollutants (POPs) and some complex systems. These tests require the instrument to have high sensitivity and high performance. The analysis can be faster, and GCMS-TQ8030 fully meets the above requirements.
