Cardboard Handmade Sweet Basket

1. Start by laying the large scrapbook paper flat on your workbench. Measure 18 cm from the left edge and mark it with a pencil. Use a ruler to draw a straight line at that mark. Fold the paper so that the left side aligns with the pencil line, then use the ruler and pencil to redraw the line on the folded edge.

2. Unfold the paper and repeat the same process on the right side. Fold the right portion over, then erase the original pencil marks and redraw the line using the ruler for precision.

3. Next, fold the top and bottom edges inward by 7.5 cm each. This will form the sides of the basket and help give it structure.

4. Once the paper is folded, carefully cut off the four corners as shown in the image. This step helps create a more rounded and elegant shape for the basket.

5. Now, bring the folded edges together and secure them with a glue stick. Make sure all the seams are well adhered for a sturdy finish.

6. To make the handle, take two strips of paper and glue them back-to-back. Then, attach the ends of the handle strip to the sides of the basket, ensuring it's centered and secure.

7. Finally, use the remaining strips of paper to decorate the basket. You can wrap them around the handle or add some patterns for a personalized touch. This not only enhances the look but also hides any raw edges.
