Locking head refers to the process of cutting the upper and lower ends of the book by cutting the three sides of the book with a silk string to replace the plug cloth. Because the color of the silk cord used is generally two, help to lock the flower head. The flowers that are locked with silk cords are durable, beautiful and unique, and can match the books of Jinkou and Huakou. The following points are performed during operation.
1 Before operation, the 1.5-2mm thick cardboard is cut into square slats. Its length is about 10mm longer than the back of the book or the width of the back of the book. It is used as the bones of the lock head (as the role of the ribs in the plug cloth). The wire with a diameter of 1-1.5 mm was put on the needle and used.
2 In operation, firstly, a book block after pulling up the ridge (or square back) should be erected, with the top of the head or the cut of the foot pointing upwards, and then the flower head bones (cardboard strips) should be centered on the incision and connected with the back of the book. In the position, the slats of the muscles are flush with the back of the book, and then the bones are held by one hand and the other hand is locked by a needle with a thread.

The operation of the locking flower head requires: a. The length of the used wire rope is arbitrarily selected according to need, but it is not allowed to have a connector on the head of a book; b. The wire rope is loosely connected and the locking head is flush with no gaps, And so on; c. The width and thickness of the slats are the same, and there is no spillage, indentation and de-roping after the lock.
After locking the flower head book block, the adhesive book backing and sticky book backing paper are performed.
6. Sticky cheese paper operation and requirements
Sticky cheese paper refers to the processing of sticking a cylindrical paper on the back of the book that has finished the back of the book.
The function of the cheese paper is to firmly connect the book block and the book case, increase the strength of the back of the book, make the book form firm, not loose and deform and enhance the appearance grade. Caliper paper is commonly used for circular endorsers with a thickness of more than 30mm (300mm or less can be used).

The package paper is generally made of 100g/m2 kraft paper. This paper has good tensile strength, high strength and firmness. Its length is 4mm shorter than the book block, and its width is twice the back arc length plus 5mm sticky mouth (Figure 9-1).
