A demonstration campus automatic weather station with automatic weather station and manual observation was built in Hefei Jiaheyuan Primary School. Many people will be attracted by a 10-meter-high bracket equipped with numerous instruments and solar panels – this is the newly built five-element campus weather station at Jiaheyuan Primary School. It is reported that this is also the first campus weather station in primary and secondary schools in Laoshan District.
The Jiaxiao campus weather station is equipped with instruments for monitoring wind direction, wind speed, temperature, humidity and rainfall. Students can do simple weather observations and tests directly at the school through meteorological instruments to collect real-time weather, temperature, humidity, wind direction, wind speed and rainfall information, and broadcast the “micro-weather†conditions around the school. The automatic meteorological observation is an automatic weather station for five-element area observation, and provides meteorological observation data such as wind speed, wind, humidity and rainfall.
In the education of primary and secondary schools, meteorological science is the earliest implemented natural science education, and the campus weather station is the key link to practice meteorological science knowledge on campus. It is an important platform for promoting disaster prevention and mitigation and knowledge of climate change to promote primary and secondary schools. .
