In recent years, interactive electronic whiteboards have begun to enter primary and secondary schools, but most electronic whiteboards have only entered special classrooms. Each school has only one or two pieces. It has not been able to quickly enter every ordinary classroom. After some thinking, I tried to bring the interactive electronic whiteboard into the ordinary classroom through technical means. After continuous thinking and practice, I finally achieved the harmonious unification of the writing board and the electronic whiteboard.

1. The electronic whiteboard and the blackboard live in harmony

Generally speaking, interactive electronic whiteboards can be divided into electromagnetic induction, infrared, ultrasonic, resistance pressure, CCD, etc. according to the principle, and can be divided into wall-mounted, slide, mobile, etc. according to the installation method. Dazzled. But what we have to think is, can these electronic whiteboards find a suitable place in the classroom?

The first thing to consider is the problem of getting along with the electronic whiteboard and blackboard, as shown in Figure 1. The electronic whiteboard must occupy a place on the blackboard, and the writing area of ​​the blackboard is suddenly reduced by 2/5, so someone came up with a slide way to make the blackboard push-pull type. When you close it, you can imagine the inconvenience of using the electronic whiteboard in this way. The second question to consider is whether the electronic whiteboard is safe in the classroom? A piece of electronic board with thousands of yuan can easily be changed into a colorful "color board" by chalk "breaking phase". If there is a board, it can be used as both a blackboard (writing board) and an electronic whiteboard.

Solution: As early as 2005, the blackboard in the school classroom was replaced by an ordinary whiteboard. Teachers wrote with a pen, saying goodbye to the days covered with chalk and dust. Soon, teachers discovered that the projected courseware no longer needs to be hit on the curtain, but directly on the whiteboard. Teachers and students can write freely on the projected courseware on the whiteboard with a pen. This actually has the prototype of the electronic whiteboard.

2. Ordinary whiteboards can be turned into electronic whiteboards

Can ordinary whiteboards become electronic whiteboards? The answer is yes, as shown in Figure 2. Through photoelectric imaging technology, an area of ​​the whiteboard or even a white wall can be virtualized into an electronic whiteboard. The photoelectric positioning recognition technology has nothing to do with the board itself. The size of the whiteboard is no longer a technical problem. Different display modes (4: 3/16: 9/16: 10, etc.) can be automatically adapted. More importantly, After purchasing a certain size of electronic whiteboard, users can easily upgrade to a larger size according to their needs in the future (after the board is expanded, only a small adjustment of the distance between the photoelectric receiver and the whiteboard is required).

Solution: Use the photoelectric positioning recognition technology to virtualize the ordinary whiteboard into an electronic whiteboard.

3. Matching of electronic whiteboard and projector

It is undeniable that in the face of the strong light of the long focal length projector, teachers cannot calmly lecture, as shown in Figure 3, the shadow of the student will block the light of the projector. Only the side of the projector can avoid the light on the electronic whiteboard To operate. It is foreseeable that the short focal length projector will grow together with the electronic whiteboard. It would be better if the virtual electronic whiteboard could be directly incorporated into the short focal projector. At present, the virtual whiteboard short-focus projector can only support the writing of electronic pens. I believe that in the near future, you can operate the electronic whiteboard smoothly without using the electronic pens directly.

4. Software compatibility

At present, the formats supported by various interactive electronic whiteboards on the market are not the same, resulting in incompatibility between various software. It is said that a certain district organizes electronic whiteboard competitions and has to be equipped with electronic brands of every brand! In fact, the essence of interacting with the electronic whiteboard is to track the coordinates in a specific screen area to perform specified operations. Through the photoelectric positioning technology, you can simulate the operation of the mouse. When needed, simulate various brushes to make it have writing and annotation functions. Go further It can do everything the mouse can do. So a good electronic whiteboard should provide a running platform for all software regardless of the operation of a specific electronic whiteboard!

Solution: The virtual whiteboard software with photoelectric positioning recognition technology is a whiteboard platform that can run and operate all whiteboard software, that is, compatible with all software, including electronic whiteboard software.

V. Conclusion

After equipping the two classrooms according to the above ideas, I was very touched. The construction of an information-based education and teaching environment is not an easy task. In addition to technical factors, thinking about educational equipment must also reflect the humanistic spirit. It is reflected in the environmental construction of educational equipment that reflects people-oriented values, an ecological concept of sustainable development, and harmony between technology and the environment.
