When Vicky decided to try something out on 3D design, her computer experience really helped a lot. Then she uses the Layer Modification function 3D printer to start and stop printing at the specified layer height. Take her Monarch Butterfly design as an example: the first process prints in orange in the first ten millimeters, then stops, Vicky can change the wire; then the second process prints a few millimeters of white until the object is completely printed. .

The discovery of this technique opened up a whole new world for Vicky. “Before, I could only change the color of the wire by manually pausing the print, which meant that I had to pay close attention to the progress of the print. I couldn’t do it as a mother who was taking the child,” she explained. "And now I can let the process stop myself, and I will add a color to it at the right time. It gives me more time to take care of children who are only 4 and 2 years old."
