Our factory has a JS2102 offset press produced in 1991, mainly printing books and articles. In recent times, there have been frequent inaccuracies in the mouthwash, sometimes as much as 3mm, and the paper is often rolled into rollers. Both seriously affect product quality and delay production.
In response to this failure, check the delivery of the paper from the feeder, and the condition of the paper feeding is normal. In addition, check the front gauge and the transfer tooth row with no problem. After repeated and careful inspection, it was found that the transfer drum had a 3 mm oscillating in the circumferential direction, which resulted in the unstable transfer of the transfer drum tooth and the transfer tooth bar and the impression roller, and the occurrence of paper drop and creasing.
According to the swinging phenomenon of the transfer drum, we removed the transfer drum gear. As a result, it was found that the tightening screw on the gear holder and the drum shaft head was loose, the pin broke, and the gear seat and the drum shaft head wobbled, causing the transfer drum to rake. Paper transfer is not allowed. After re-tightening the screws and replacing the new pins, the test machine prints and the fault disappears immediately.
This kind of failure is not only rare but also difficult to find in the printing operation, but it is extremely harmful. If other printing manufacturers have similar failures, please print colleagues to try the method described in this article.
