VIBATAN PE Fresh 02884 material is used in the production of LDPE and HDPE films as a packaging material for preservation of fresh fruits, vegetables, grains, flowers, breads and other items. PE film with 02884 material added has the characteristics of freshness preservation, extended shelf life, and elimination of odor. The formula is a kind of active absorption material with LDPE as carrier.
The material absorbs ethylene gas (caused by ripening after harvest), ethanol, ethyl acetate, ammonia, and hydrogen sulfide, thus delaying the metamorphic period of fresh produce. The best addition of 02884 material in PE film is 10%.
This VIBATAN formulation is non-toxic and free of heavy metals and meets the requirements of the German Federal Health Service (BGVV) III (polyethylene) and LII (plastic consumer fill material) and the United States Pharmaceutical and Food Administration (FDA) regulations. .
Moreover, the material can be fully put into production without any modification, and can be used for a single layer film and a multilayer film, and the physical characteristics of the film do not change. (Note: Transparency may be appropriately reduced to form milky white). Films and other packaging materials containing 02884 can be recycled like normal polyethylene products.
