3.2 Packaging Design of Waste Materials

Japan and other countries have developed new papermaking technologies that use waste paper and bagasse as raw materials, and have designed and manufactured packaging such as lunch boxes and tableware. 3.3 Structural design of packaging

3.4 Packaging Design

3.5 Online Packaging Design

The online packaging design is a paperless design and is a new idea for improving the green performance of packaging design. With the rapid development of online trade, the concept of packaging has been further expanded - online packaging is the packaging of products sold on the Internet in accordance with the size and other characteristics of the physical product. The packaging design for online products enables consumers to come in contact with the product packaging while also being exposed to online products. Reducing environmental pollution and realizing “paperless marketing” is an important advantage of online marketing. It reduces the number of actual shipping samples and reduces the cost of trade. It fundamentally avoids the product backlog caused by blind production of packaging that is not suitable for market demand. The realization of the “zero inventory” of packaging products is possible, thereby reducing waste of resources and environmental pollution.

Through the green performance research of packaging design, it seeks a new design idea for packaging designers to harmonize with the environment and nature, enabling packaging design to sublimate from a low-level design model that simply meets human needs to the coordination of human and nature.
