U.S. company to launch new anti-counterfeiting sealing equipment

Tri-Tronics, Inc. of Florida, USA, will exhibit a new UV seal inspection system that can be used to detect the effectiveness of the transparent or opaque masking seals added during the packaging process. The SMARTEYE STEALTH type UV detection sensor incorporates an ultraviolet solid state light source that activates the luminescent material so that the latter can be detected by the sensor.

Such a detection system can also be used on various shapes and sizes of glass and plastic containers, such as bottles, cans, trays, blister packs, ampoules, and the like. In addition, this detection system can also be used to detect the position and effectiveness of the sealing substrate, labels, adhesives, and invisible security markings.
